Rev. Wendy von Zirpolo
Reverend Wendy von Zirpolo was ordained into Unitarian Universalist ministry in 2005 at the Haverhill Universalist Unitarian Church in Haverhill, MA. She received her Masters in Divinity from Boston University School of Theology in 2005 and completed her chaplaincy at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA. Prior to her arrival at our church in Marblehead, she served as Interim Assistant Minister to Families & Children at the church of her childhood in Winchester, MA, interned for two years at the Haverhill Church and served as Director of Religious Education in Haverhill for eight years. A third and fourth generation Unitarian Universalist, she grew up in Winchester, Massachusetts and Annisquam.
Reverend von Zirpolo also serves as the ordained member of the UU Allies For Racial Equity, is President of UU Camp & Conference Center, Ferry Beach, is a member of the UUA Accessibilities Committee and is a UU Women's Federation volunteer for communications. She is a long-time Special Olympics Swim Coach and teaches special needs swimming several hours a week in Haverhill. She and her husband, Peter, reside in Danville, NH where their youngest of four children is completing high school. They have three daughters in college.
